Opening Reflection

One of the most comforting truths in the resurrection story is not only that Jesus rose from the dead — it’s that He goes ahead of His people.

The angel told the women at the tomb to inform the disciples that Jesus was already on the move. Before they could process their grief, before they could regain their courage, before they even knew what came next, Jesus was already waiting for them in Galilee.

That same truth still speaks today.

Whatever place you are walking toward — uncertainty, transition, disappointment, opportunity, healing — Christ is not behind you trying to catch up. He is ahead of you.

The empty tomb is proof that no situation is too dead for God to redeem. And the risen Savior is proof that your future is not abandoned.

Devotional Thought

The disciples thought the story had ended at the cross. Fear scattered them. Shame silenced them. Hope felt buried.

But resurrection changed everything.

Matthew 28:7 reminds us that resurrection is not only about victory over death — it is also about divine direction. Jesus didn’t simply rise; He led.

“Going ahead of you” means:

God is already in tomorrow.
Christ has already prepared the path.
Your next season is not unknown to Heaven.

Sometimes we want detailed answers from God, but often He offers His presence instead. The disciples were not given a full explanation. They were given a destination and a promise: “There you will see Him.”

Faith grows when we keep moving toward where Jesus has called us, trusting He will meet us there.

Application

Ask yourself today:

Where am I fearful about the future?
What “Galilee” is God calling me toward?
Am I willing to trust that Jesus is already there?

You may not know every detail of what lies ahead, but you can walk confidently knowing the risen Christ has gone before you.

Prayer

Lord Jesus,
Thank You for rising from the dead and for going ahead of me. When I feel uncertain, remind me that You are already present in my future. Give me courage to move forward in faith, even when I cannot see the whole path. Help me trust that I will find You exactly where You have called me to go.

Reflexión Inicial

Una de las verdades más reconfortantes en la historia de la resurrección no es solo que Jesús resucitó de entre los muertos, sino que Él va delante de Su pueblo.

El ángel les dijo a las mujeres en la tumba que informaran a los discípulos que Jesús ya estaba en movimiento. Antes de que pudieran procesar su dolor, antes de que pudieran recuperar su valentía, antes incluso de que supieran qué venía después, Jesús ya los estaba esperando en Galilea.

Esa misma verdad sigue hablando hoy.

Cualquiera que sea el lugar hacia el que estás caminando — incertidumbre, transición, decepción, oportunidad, sanidad — Cristo no está detrás de ti tratando de alcanzarte. Él está delante de ti.

La tumba vacía es prueba de que no hay situación demasiado muerta para que Dios la redima. Y el Salvador resucitado es prueba de que tu futuro no está abandonado.

Pensamiento Devocional

Los discípulos pensaron que la historia había terminado en la cruz. El miedo los dispersó. La vergüenza los silenció. La esperanza parecía enterrada.

Pero la resurrección lo cambió todo.

Mateo 28:7 nos recuerda que la resurrección no se trata solo de la victoria sobre la muerte, sino también de dirección divina. Jesús no simplemente resucitó; Él guió.

“Ir delante de ustedes” significa:

Dios ya está en el mañana.
Cristo ya ha preparado el camino.
Tu próxima temporada no es desconocida para el Cielo.

A veces queremos respuestas detalladas de Dios, pero a menudo Él ofrece Su presencia en su lugar. A los discípulos no se les dio una explicación completa. Se les dio un destino y una promesa: “Allí lo verán.”

La fe crece cuando seguimos avanzando hacia donde Jesús nos ha llamado, confiando en que Él nos encontrará allí.

Aplicación

Pregúntate hoy:

¿Sobre qué tengo temor respecto al futuro?
¿Qué “Galilea” me está llamando Dios a alcanzar?
¿Estoy dispuesto a confiar en que Jesús ya está allí?

Puede que no conozcas cada detalle de lo que está por delante, pero puedes caminar con confianza sabiendo que el Cristo resucitado ha ido delante de ti.

Oración

Señor Jesús,
Gracias por resucitar de entre los muertos y por ir delante de mí. Cuando me sienta inseguro, recuérdame que Tú ya estás presente en mi futuro. Dame valentía para avanzar con fe, incluso cuando no pueda ver todo el camino. Ayúdame a confiar en que te encontraré exactamente donde me has llamado a ir.
